WineSense kick-off meeting a success

On 28th October 2013 the WineSense project starts with loads of science to share and develop in the technology of wine antiaging compounds.

Prof. Rafael Mato from UVa shows the applications of microwaves in the extraction of antioxidants.

Postdoc researcher “Ramon y Cajal” Angel Martin explained in detail UVa expertise in particle micronization by several innovative methods.

Prof. Catarina Duarte from iBET in Lisbon (Portugal) presented the research in Animal Cell Technology, Proteomics, Nutraceuticals and Controlled Delivery and pilot plants.

imageDr. Haley Every introduced the SME FEYECON based in The Netherlands. The company has a number of successful spinoffs in renewables, dyes, etc.

Ruben Gallo described the research and development in Bodegas Matarromera. The company extracts polyphenols and other high added value compounds from grape marc.

Finally, Maria Moncada from FunGeUVa will take care of the management of WineSense, assuring that everything goes as planned.
